# What is JUSThood? JUSThood is an [innovative methodology](/justhood/justhood-methodology/methodology.md) that empowers inhabitants to envision the design of their neighbourhoods in equitable way. Based on a design-driven approach, [JUSThood method](/justhood/products/justhood-method-r.md) is positioned at the intersection of three topics – masterplanning, spatial equity and participatory futures. JUSThood network is a network of hubs and JUSThood mentors in different countries around the world who are trained in using the JUSThood method in particular, and the topics of spatial equity and participatory futures approach in general. JUSThood network will be represented in an online database and collect case studies of JUSThood implementation and masterplans around the world to inspire and learn from each other. JUSThood index is a tool which can be used to measure spatial equity of urban places.
